We're very pleased with our new web site. It has a lot of useful content and allows you to download and print various documents like Unfair Practice Charges, Notice of Appearance forms, objection letters and any other things that we need to share with you. If you have any comments or suggestions as to how this site can be improved, please share them with us.

UPTE did not accept the last 9 Unfair Practice Charges that were mailed to them. This is the same address that the first 200 or so were sent to and accepted at. We anticipated that this would happen a long time ago. Anyone who does not want to be served with a lawsuit can try to hide but in the end, they will be served, as we are here to serve UPTE. So Joe, Gary, Elizabeth, Patty, Vineeta, Rodney, Kathy, Jennifer and Doug, don't worry, you'll get justice, it will just take a couple of days longer.

Werner is travelling to Los Angeles on Friday to meet a few friends of the cause and to inspect some documents. He reported that on his last trip on February 7, the PERB Board agent who was supposedly on jury duty until February 15 was in the office. The case must have been a lot shorter than anticipated. He will also fly to Sacramento on March 3 to meet some people in Davis and Sacramento. We hope, with his help, to get the PERB Regulations modified to provide greater protection for the agency fee payers.

This organization needs members and money to succeed. If you cannot part with the UPTE checks because you need the money, please note - members are even more critical to success than money. We have over 100 people who have filled out membership forms in about two weeks, a good start. But it takes a critical mass of members to turn this insurgency into a revolution that will overthrow UPTE. Our estimation is that, even without any money for the campaign, about 1000 people will vote to oust UPTE. UPTE was voted in with about 500 votes and because they have gained in membership since that vote, our guess is that they will pour as much money as they can in an effort to stay in power. They can probably muster about 1000 votes with a concerted effort. So, fill out the Just Vote u c membership form and send it to Werner at his address.
